 KA6U Update - September 5, 2022 - 1630UTC I returned to Florida yesterday September 4. Thank-you everyone who contacted me during the trip and thank-you for the financial contributions toward the cost of the trip. This year the trip cost about $25,000 not including the cost of replacing my roving vehicle and shipping RV and Truck back to Florida. I am planning some short trips this fall to include South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana on 23cm, 70cm if I can fix the PA and 222 EME. KA6U Update September 3 - 1100UTC South Carolina - Last activation for this trip I am planning a short activation today in South Carolina South Carolina EM92 - 2130UTC - 2359UTC  This will be a short stop and because of the low Moon declination there will not be an EU window. I may be back to this area September 17- 19 to activate SC and GA when the Moon is at high northern declination.   Yesterday was a difficult travel day.  There was a 150 mile traffic jam in Virginia and it took 7 hours to travel 200 miles.  A combination of road construction and many traffic accidents almost certainly caused by people not paying attention to driving and texting on their phones while waiting in heavy traffic caused by people texting on their phones.
