Road Trip 2021 - Sept Activation at the site of the First Moonbounce Operation

I have received approval from the organization that operates the location where the first Moonbounce communication was performed to activate the site on September 20-21, 2021. 

Project Diana - First Moonbounce

I plan to activate the site as follows:
  • FN20XE34 - September 20, 2021 2300UTC - September 21, 2021 0500UTC
The planned location is on the path underneath the large dish antenna.  The Moonrise direction is to the East.  Moon conditions are excellent for that day.  There is a town to the East before the Atlantic Ocean.

I will be joined in the activation by the Amateur Radio operators who support ISEC.

We will print commemorative QSL cards for the event.

  KA6U Update - July 18, 2023 -  1130UTC Updated plan for Saturday July 22nd: Saturday July 22nd - MS EM43KH - 1700 - 1900UTC - 23cm and 70cm  Saturday July 22nd - AR EM43JG - 2000 - 2200UTC - 23cm and 70cm  There is a possibility that I may move the AR activation to Sunday July 23rd starting at 1800UTC. I will operate first on the east side of the Mississippi River in Mississippi and then cross the river into Arkansas.  I need 45 - 60 minutes to move the 70cm and 23cm stations.
