  KA6U Update - October Roving Trip - 2100UTC Sept 30, 2023 UPDATE   I will start 902 EME activation at 0100UTC October 1st 4 hours from now in addition to 70cm activation.  I will be on both bands at the same time. If  you want to try on 902 EME send me a message on the HB9Q logger and I will start calling on 902. I will do NC first then SC. I will also activate 902 EME at 0900UTC.  NC first followed by SC.   KA6U Update - October Roving Trip - 1800UTC Sept 247, 2023   My 902, 222, 23cm and 70cm stations are all tested and packed in the car. I am leaving Saturday morning September 30. On this trip I plan to activate selected states on 222, 23cm and 70cm and do not plan to set up all stations in every state. If you are close to WAS on 222, 23cm or 70cm and one of the states along the east coast that you need is NOT on the lists below, please send me an email: 222: VT, RI, MA, DE, VA, WV 70cm: PA, RI (low power TX), DE, ME, NC, WV (I may be able to do some of these but will make for very long operating sessions because of need to work west coast US stations on 902 also 23cm: NH 902:  ME, VT/MA, CT, RI, PA, MD/DE, VA, WV, SC/NC, NH  (/ indicates attempt to do two states in one stop) Operating Plan October 1st 0900UTC - NC/SC - 902.150 2nd Peter KA6U

KA6U Update - October Roving Trip - 2100UTC Sept 24, 2023   I am leaving Florida on Saturday September 30 for a 22 day roving trip eventually arriving in Texas for the EME contest at K5QE. The highest priority for this trip is 902EME. I am also going to operate my 222 Mhz, 70cm and 23cm stations from selected states. I hope to do a low-power activation from Rhode Island on the weekend of October 7/8.  There is a possibility if conditions are good I could work some of the stations that need 70cm.  W1QA/NC1I do not have a valid high power license for 70cm from RI. The basic plan is to go up the East Coast of the US to Maine then turn left. I would go through the upper midwest, WI, MN, ND, SD then if the weather is ok go to MT, ID then south down the left side of the mountains then head to Texas. I plan to activate selected/requested states on 222, 70cm and 23cm and activate all states I visit on 902 EME. If there are specific states on my route, please send me an email so I can plan. I w
