23cm and 222 EME Update - Jan 13th, 2022

I am on schedule to depart early tomorrow morning, January 13th to activate EM50tl in MS and AL on 222 and 23cm EME.

Tomorrow, January 13th starting at 2100UTC I plan to activate MS on 222.080 JT65B calling 2nd.  If conditions are not good, please be prepared to run Q65-60C.

I am planning to set up on I-90 right at the MS/AL border.  I will activate MS first, then I will drag the antenna array across the border into AL.

I anticipate MS operations from Jan 2100UTC - 0000UTC Jan 14th then AL from 0015UTC until 0300UTC on Jan 14.

I will be operating on 23cm EME at the same time.  Planned QRG is 1296.080 2nd Q65-60C 1000hz.

If the location I have selected is not suitable due to noise from a local cell tower, I may need to only activate MS on Jan 13th.

      By the way… your signal was 100% CW able. If you have the time you might give CW a try. I think a lot Fellows would love to try!

  KA6U Update - July 18, 2023 -  1130UTC Updated plan for Saturday July 22nd: Saturday July 22nd - MS EM43KH - 1700 - 1900UTC - 23cm and 70cm  Saturday July 22nd - AR EM43JG - 2000 - 2200UTC - 23cm and 70cm  There is a possibility that I may move the AR activation to Sunday July 23rd starting at 1800UTC.
