CHANGE IN PLAN

I am adding South Carolina on 23cm and 222Mhz to this trip.
Note below that Georgia is moved up one day to Friday, November 4th

Revised plan for November activations for better Moon windows and schedule change requests.
Note that Georgia activation data has changed
  • EM90 - Georgia - 2200UTC Nov 4 - 0300UTC Nov 4 - Plan to operate on 23cm and 222 Mhz North of Jacksonville Florida
  • EM92 - South Carolina - 2200UTC Nov 5 - 0300UTC Nov 5 - Plan to operate 23cm and 222 Mhz North of Savanna Georgia near Saint Marys, South Carolina
  • EM42 - Louisiana - 2300UTC Nov 6 - 0400 Nov 7 - Plan to operate on 23cm and 222 near the LA/MS border West of Vicksburg
  • EM46 - Arkansas - 0400 - 0700UTC Nov 15 - 23cm, 70cm may be available, 222 by request
  • EM46 - Missouri - 0500 - 1000UTC Nov 16 - 23cm, 70cm may be available, 222 by request
  • EM56 - Tennessee - 0600 - 1100UTC Nov 17 - 23cm, 70cm may be available, 222 by request
  • EM99 - Ohio - 0900 - 1300UTC Nov 20 - 23cm, 70cm may be available, 222 by request
I am planning to visit as many as 10 states in the next 3 weeks weather permitting.
I will definitely be on 23cm at all locations.
I will activate 222 in the states by request.  So far I have a request for LA.  Please send me email.
I expect to have 70cm for the part of the trip starting November 15th.  My PA is repaired, sequencer that caused failure is repaired.  If I operate 70cm I will operate at the same time I operate on 23cm.

At this point the weather looks ok, no extreme winter weather, down to 0 deg C on some nights.
But that could change.

  KA6U Update - July 18, 2023 -  1130UTC Updated plan for Saturday July 22nd: Saturday July 22nd - MS EM43KH - 1700 - 1900UTC - 23cm and 70cm  Saturday July 22nd - AR EM43JG - 2000 - 2200UTC - 23cm and 70cm  There is a possibility that I may move the AR activation to Sunday July 23rd starting at 1800UTC. I will operate first on the east side of the Mississippi River in Mississippi and then cross the river into Arkansas.  I need 45 - 60 minutes to move the 70cm and 23cm stations.
