KA6U Update - July 7, 2024 - 0145UTC

Today was a challenging day in RI and CT running low power on 70cm.

This is the last low power operation!

I was able to work a number of stations to deliver the hard-to-get RI state.

Ian W6TCP is paper QSL manager.  I will use LoTW also.

Current plan subject to change:

- July 8 - NH 70cm and 902 EME - 1700UTC - 2000UTC

- July 9 - ME 902 EME and 23cm EME - 1800UTC - 2100UTC

I will not operate on 70cm from ME.  K1WHS - Dave has a good 70cm EME station in Maine.

Connecticut operating location today.  Note the high elevation.  RI location was directly across the river, 1/2 mile drive.  Temperature was 98F high humidity and no wind.  I worked several 4 yagi stations on 70cm with low power.  Took a while and 120D at times.  I will run 500W for remaining 70cm activations.  Station setup time for what you see below is now 30 minutes.  Packing time is 20 minutes.

New Hampshire operation location for July 8 at 1700UTC - Moonrise direction
Maine is on the other side of the river
